Historical Background

Constructed originally in 373 AH (984 CE) by Sheikh Hassan ibn Muthlih Jamkarani following an encounter documented by classical scholars including Allamah Majlisi and Sheikh Saduq. Over centuries, the mosque complex has been expanded into magnificent turquoise-domed prayer courtyards accommodating massive international gatherings.
